We are so proud to announce that one of our deeply loved OC Online alumnae, Morgan Stickney (’16), has won the gold medal for Team USA in the 400 meter women’s freestyle swim in the Paralympics!!
It is hard to believe that just two years ago, we were gathering in prayer as an online community to mourn together the news that she needed to amputate her second foot, making her the world’s first bilateral Ewing amputee. At the time, her response to this upsetting news was simply and tearfully, “God’s got this.”
How true Morgan’s words were!
Who could have imagined that God would deliver in this way?! What a testimony to Morgan’s faith and to God’s miraculous power! We are so honored to celebrate with her and are grateful to know such an incredible person who has accomplished so much already. We look forward to hosting Morgan as a guest speaker in our online chapel sometime this fall or spring.
